General Submission Guidelines – Sciences Po Law Review (Blog)
The Sciences Po Law Review is now accepting submissions for its Blog! Selected articles will be published on our website (under ‘Editorials’) and shared across our social media platforms. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Nevertheless, we highly encourage you to submit your work as early as possible. Follow us on social media to receive updates on prizes and competitions hosted in collaboration with our partners. Please review the following guidelines before submitting:
Submissions are open to everyone, including students and researchers without any affiliation with Sciences Po, and may be written in English or French.

Word count: Submissions should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words, excluding footnotes.

Files must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

Submissions must address a legal topic, though interdisciplinary approaches (e.g. political science, history, sociology etc.) are welcome. Articles exploring novel legal developments are preferred.

A submission’s cover page must be added and should include:

Essay title

Author’s full name

Submission category (e.g. Public, International, Constitutional, Competition Law, etc.)

Final word count
-
Short biography with the following details: current stage of studies or career (including year, academic programme, affiliation, specialisation etc.).

A statement confirming that the work is original and unpublished. All sources must be properly cited and referenced. Co-authored submissions are allowed.

A 200-word summary should precede the introduction and will be shared on social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn) if the submission is accepted.

The main text should be in Times New Roman, size 12, with 1-inch margins and 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10. Please leave spacing between paragraphs. Figures and tables should only be included if essential.

Articles written in English must follow OSCOLA. Articles written in French must follow the style doctrinal français - méthode Bordeaux citation style.

Your article should be clear, engaging, and accessible to a broad audience.
